Off-grid solar power systems

Here at Midsummer Energy we have lots of experience designing and building off-grid energy systems for use all around the world.

Our battery-based systems are ideal for remote buildings, holiday homes, areas with poor electricity supplies and people who want independence from electricity companies.

In the UK, off-grid systems can even qualify for the 'feed-in tariffs' that pay you for electricity produced from renewable sources - even though the electricity is not fed back into the national grid! If you are looking to claim feed-in tariff payments, you will need to have the system installed by an MCS-approved installer. We can arrange this for you.

The systems are equally appropriate for use abroad, particularly in sunnier climes to the UK - we've supplied off-grid power systems to remote cottages in Spain and Portugal, and even a beach bar in Gabon!
