Gives us an idea of the work needed to install the fixings

How large is the roof you would like the solar panels to be installed on?

Gives us an idea of the largest array you could fit onto the roof.

What angle it is tilted at? (degrees from horizontal)?

If sloping, what direction does the roof face?

South is best, but other directions will still work, with slightly lower power output

Does the roof get shaded at any point during the day? If so, approximately what percentage of the time do you estimated it is shaded for?

Shading will reduce the output of the array to some extent

Is there access immediately below the roof for a scaffolding tower?

A space approx 3m square where we can install a tower makes accessing the roof easier

Approximately when was the house last rewired?

Older systems may need a little more work to bring up to standard

Do you have a spare fuseway in your distribution unit?

No need to worry if you are not sure - it is only a small additional cost to add another.
