PVL68 panels on 'Hornblower'
Hornblower is the home of cycle couriers Peter and Rob King from Outspoken Delivery (whom we happen to share offices with!).
Hornblower is a typical narrowboat with typical needs - lighting is one of the biggest current draws in the winter, while an efficient fridge is only turned on in the summer months. A pump on the diesel-powered aga also takes some current when it is running.
The Unisolar PVL68 panels that Rob and PK have fitted do a fantastic job of generating the electricity they need. The beauty of the peel-and-stick panels is the ease of application, and the very low profile. In fact on Hornblower, they are nearly the same colour as the roof, and few people realise they are there until they are pointed out to them.
