This RS485 to USB interface is necessary for connecting an AC current sensor directly to a GX device. This allows for generation statistics to be directly uploaded to the Victron VRM Online Portal, which can be viewed in real-time from anywhere in the world, as well as informing the Multiplus or Quattro when excess energy is available for charging the batteries.
