This RS485 to USB interface is necessary for connecting an AC current sensor directly to the Colour Control GX display monitor. This allows for generation statistics to be directly uploaded to the Victron VRM Online Portal, which can be viewed in real-time from anywhere in the world, as well as informing the Multiplus or Quattro when excess energy is available for charging the batteries.
