Victron's latest Orion redefines adaptive charging, designed for use with dual battery systems with an (intelligent) alternator. This unit will step down a 12V input to a 12V output with a maximum output of 50A (700W). 

This device requires a common negative on the van/boat chassis. If this does not suit your requirements, have a look at our isolated DC-DC converters.
