Basic Solar Regulators - PWM
Victron BlueSolar Light - EPSolar PWM LandStar with USB output - MorningStar - Steca - Victron Duo
Every solar panel in an off-grid system will need a solar regulator. To read more about the importance of choosing the right solar regulator for your system, please visit our information page on the subject.
These basic solar regulator units work on pulse width modulation (PWM) - a type of charging regime that rapidly pulses the charge from the solar panels to maintain the battery voltage at a constant level. This method of charging allows maximum charge into the batteries, but prevents overcharging. If you require an MPPT controller - please click here.
