The battery pack is a rack-mounted lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) designed for reliable power in various equipment and systems, particularly suitable for high power, limited space, restricted load-bearing, and long cycle life applications. It has a nominal voltage of 51.2V and a capacity of 100Ah. Approved by Victron Energy for use in Victron Energy 48V systems.

Key features of the battery pack include:

• Built-in BMS that manages and monitors cell voltage, current, and temperature, and balances charging and discharging to extend cycle life.
• Parallel connection capability, allowing multiple batteries to be connected to expand capacity and power (up to 63 groups with a 6 DIP switch version).
• Self-cooling mode for noise reduction.
• Low self-discharge (can be stored for up to 6 months without charging if SOC is no less than 80%) and no memory effect.
• Wide operating temperature range for discharging (-10°C to +55°C) and charging (+0°C to +45°C)
• Compact 19-inch embedded design for easy installation and maintenance.
• Telemetry for monitoring voltage, current, temperature, SOC.
• Optional remote control for charge/discharge, alarm sound off, and intelligent charging.
• LED display for voltage, current, temperature, and alarm information.

Minimum battery sizing

For reliable operation, there are minimum numbers of batteries required for different Victron inverters (see attachment).
